COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—San José State current Men’s Track and Field athlete Demaris Waters has been selected to the Mountain West 25th Season Men’s Track and Field team.
The conference is celebrating its 25th Season of excellence on and off the field of play and recognizing a 25th Season Team during each MW Championship.
Demaris Waters, 2023-Current
- Number two on the SJSU all-time outdoor record book in the Men’s 110m Hurdles with a time of 13.40
- Number two on the Mountain West all-time performance list in Men’s 110m Hurdles.
- Currently ranked ninth in the NCAA for this outdoor season in Men’s 110m Hurdles with a time of 13.40.
- Also currently ranks second in the West region for Men’s 110mH.
- Currently ranked number two in the Mountain West for Men’s 110mH this outdoor season.
- Set a new career-best in 110mH at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational with a time of 13.40.
- Set a new career-best in the 200m at the 2024 Hornet Invitational with a time of 21.94.
- Part of Men’s 110mH event squad currently ranked 10th in NCAA.
- 2024 All-Mountain West indoor season selection in 60m Hurdles.
- Took second place in the 60mH at 2024 Mountain West Indoor Championships with a time of 7.84.
