CRESWELL, Ore. - Caleb Shetler, Xuan Luo and Zubair Firdaus shot even for the tournament to help lead San José State men's golf to a fourth place finish in the Mountain West Championship at Emerald Valley Golf Club in Creswell, Ore. on Sunday.
- The fourth place finish is the Spartans best ever finish in the Mountain West Championship
- The Spartans shot an 862 (-2) as a team for the tournament
- Shetler, Luo and Firdaus all finished tied for 13th with a 216
- Carl Corpus finished tied for 32nd shooting a 220 (+4)
- Ivan Barahona shot a 146 (+3) in the two rounds he played
