Clesi Crochet

Clesi Crochet serves as Interim Assistant Athletic Director for Football Operations at San José State University, a role she assumed in March of 2026. She was promoted to Director of Football Operations in February of 2024 after joining the program in September of 2022 as the Beyond Sparta Coordinator.

Before her time at San José State, Crochet spent the 2021–22 season at Auburn University as Assistant to the Head Football Coach and Assistant Director of Football Operations.

Before Auburn, Crochet worked at Boise State University from 2019–21 as Assistant to the Head Football Coach and On-Campus Recruiting and Operations Coordinator.

Throughout her career, Crochet has built a strong foundation within elite college football environments, gaining experience across operations, recruiting, and student-athlete development. Her time across these nationally recognized programs has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the structure, demands, and evolving landscape of collegiate athletics.

At San José State, she has been part of the continued growth and advancement of the football program, taking on increasing leadership responsibilities within the organization.

A graduate of Boise State University, Crochet earned a degree in Communications along with certificates in Sports Innovation and Culture and Design Ethnography (User Research).
