Women's cross country finish second at the Santa Clara Invitational

Sunnyvale, Calif.----The San Jose State women's cross country team finished second out of five teams at the Santa Clara Invitational held on October 18.

The Spartans finished with a team score of 52. Santa Clara won the race with 29 points, while San Diego finished third with 87in the 5km race.

Ashleigh Nebeker was the top finisher for the Spartans placing sixth with a 18:31 time. Tiffanie Marley, running for San Diego was first with a 17:54 clocking.

Seven Sartans, Ashleigh Nebeker, Robyn Stevens, Tiffany Hall, Rebekah Harmer, Valerie Weilert, Janet Yiu, and Lindsay Peters, finished in the top-20.
