Women's cross country wins Gator Invitational

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.----The San Jose State University women’s cross country team finished first out of 11 teams at the Gator Invitational held in San Francisco on October 4.

The Spartans finished with a team score of 44. Fresno State placed second in the 6km race with 64 points.

Kara June, from Fresno State, won the race with a 21:30 clocking.

Four Spartans, Ashleigh Nebeker, Tiffany Hall, Lindsay Peters, and Robyn Stevens, placed in the top ten.
