Women's Cross Country Heads To Willamette Invite

The San Jose State women's cross country team heads to Salem, Ore., to compete in the 37th Willamette Invitational on October 1.

The Spartans will be one of 14 teams in the field that includes: Cal Baptist, Central Washington, Chico State, Lewis and Clark College, Linfield College, Northwest Nazarene, Pacific Lutheran, University of Portland, Puget Sound, UC Santa Cruz, Whitman College, Whitworth University and host Willamette University.

San Jose State finished in third place out of 19 teams in their last race at the UC riverside Invitational on September 17. Aylin Mejia and Elizabeth Raymond both finished inside the top-20 at that event.

The women's 5K race at the Willamette Invitational begins at 10:15 a.m.
