 The San José State University women’s and men's cross country teams continue the 2017 season Saturday morning, September 30, in Sacramento, Calif., at the Capital Cross Challenge, an event in which the program has not competed in prior to this year.

The event will be contested at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex (3649 Fulton Avenue, Sacramento, Calif., 95821), the site for the 2013 and 2016 NCAA West Region Cross Country Championships.

Fifth-year head coach Brad Wick
is bringing teams of six-women and six-men, who will toe the line for the Spartans. The gun will go off for the men’s race at 9:50 a.m. The women start at 10:30 a.m.
