Women's cross country fourth at UC Riverside Invitational

Riverside, Calif.—The San Jose State Women’s cross country team finished fourth out of 13 teams at the UC Riverside Invitational on September 20.

The Spartans finished with a team score of 141. UC Santa Barbara won the race 34 points, while CS Northridge finished second with 109 points in the 5km race.

Ashleigh Nebeker was the top Spartan finisher for the third consecutive race, finishing 20th with a time of 18:36. Teamates Robyn Stevens and Tiffany Hall were just seconds behind placing 22nd and 23rd.

Desiree Leek, running for UC Santa Barbara, won the race with a 17:38 clocking.
