Spartans Dominate Women's Division At Pat's Run

San Jose, Calif.-----Jenna Hicks paced five San Jose State University women’s cross country runners to top-10 placings at the third annual Pat’s Run, benefiting the Pat Tillman Foundation.

Hicks, a senior-to-be from Bakersfield, ran the 4.2-mile distance in 24:46 to finish second among the 1,580 women who finished the race. She was edged out of first place by her former teammate, Erica Sahli, a two-time All-Western Athletic Conference honoree, who posted a winning time of 24:45.

Sophomores-to-be Jessica Gonzales, Arely Marquez and Lauren Dubay and junior-to-be Nisha Richardson also finished in the top-10. Gonzales was fifth with her time of 26:40; Richardson, sixth, 26:49; Marquez, seventh, 27:09; and Dubay, tenth, 27:55.

Junior-to-be Suzanne Hancock was 12th with a 28:00 time and sophomore-to-be Rebecca Ulrich was 14th with her 28:13 clocking.
