Fresno, Calif.----- For the second meet in a row, Rebecca Garcia and Jenny Buckingham were the top-two finishers for the San José State University women's cross country team.

Garcia was 11th with a 15:14.00 clocking and Beckingham was 17th in 15:37.80 at the Fresno State Invitational women's cross country meet. In the Spartans' opening meet in San Francisco, Beckingham was San José State's leading runner followed by Garcia.

Annemarie Schwanz of Fresno State finished first with a 14:37.20 and helped the Bulldogs take team honors with 33 points. Air Force was close behind with 39. San José State was fourth with 93.

The Spartans return to action, Saturday, September 27, at the Stanford Invitational.
