Colorado Springs, Colo.-----For the third year in a row, at least two San Jose State University players were named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-American teams.
Adriana Vogt, a junior from Menlo Park, Calif., and Dani Curran, a sophomore from Chino, Calif., were among the 60 players to earn 2010 All-American honors. Vogt was a third-team selection; Curran, an honorable mention choice for the second time in two seasons.
Vogt led the 2010 Spartans in scoring with 64 goals and was second in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) averaging 2.06 goals per match.
Curran became the sixth player in San Jose State history to earn ACWPC All-American honors more than once. In 2010, Curran tied for fifth in scoring with 50 goals and was the Spartans' number-two scorer behind Vogt.
In 2010, San Jose State finished with a 17-14 overall record.
