Los Alamitos, Calif.-----Juliet Moss, the San Jose State University career scoring leader, is one of 21 players named to the USA Women's Senior National Team by USA Water Polo.
Eighteen field players and three goalkeepers were named to the squad that will train for two months and later compete in the 2010 FINA World Cup in Christchurch, New Zealand, August 17-22.
Moss, who majored in kinesiology and graduated in December 2009 with honors, was a two-time All-America selection during her four seasons with the Spartans that spanned the 2006 through 2009 seasons. She scored 206 goals for San Jose State and currently is the only Spartan to score more than 200 career goals.
The San Jose native and graduate of Mount Pleasant High is in her third season with USA Water Polo. In 2007, Moss was named to the Junior National Team. The following year, she was a member of the Senior National B Team.
