Three Spartans Honorable Mention All-MPSF

Woodland, Calif.-----Seniors Meagan Minson and Dani Curran and junior Anna Natalizio were named honorable mention All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) women's water polo players in a vote by the conference's eight coaches.

            Minson, the San Jose State goalkeeper, received her second All-MPSF honor in as many years. The senior from Riverside, Calif., was credited with 212 saves and had an 8.39 goals against average helped San Jose State to a 19-13 win-loss record in 2012. Minson finished her career as the school leader in saves with 952.

            Curran and Natalizio each scored 60 goals during the season for the Spartans. A senior from Chino, Calif., Curran earned her second honorable mention All-MPSF recognition in her career. Curran's 237 career goals ranks third on the San Jose State lists and is tied for eighth best in MPSF history.

            Natalizio, a junior from Irvine, Calif., had a breakthrough season offensively after scoring just 21 goals in her first two seasons.
