Water Polo Sixth Again In Poll; Heads To The Bronco

            For the third consecutive week, the San Jose State University women's water polo team is ranked sixth nationally in the latest national coaches' poll.

            The Spartans (14-10) had a bye week the weekend of April 3-4 and return to the pool Saturday, April 10, at The Bronco hosted by Santa Clara University.

            San Jose State takes on #17-ranked UC San Diego, at 9:15 a.m. and #20-ranked Cal State Bakersfield at 1:00 p.m. in a pair of non-conference matches. Earlier this season, the Spartans beat UC San Diego (13-14), 15-6, at the Michigan Kick-Off in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Tritons go after a season-long seventh straight win Friday, April 9, at Cal State East Bay.

            San Jose State and Cal State Bakersfield (13-17) meet for the first and only time this season at The Bronco.

            Adriana Vogt is San Jose State's leading scorer with 47 goals and ranks fourth among Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF)  players. Dani Curran is ninth in the MPSF in scoring this week with 33 scores.
