Juliet Moss - MPSF Player of the Week

Woodland, Calif.-----Juliet Moss, who scored 17 goals in four matches for San Jose State University, was named a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) women’s water polo Player of the Week.

    The senior from San Jose led the #6-ranked Spartans to four wins at the ASU Invitational, March 28-29, including triumphs over #8-Arizona State in a conference contest and #9-UC Irvine in a non-conference encounter at the Sullivan Aquatic Complex on the Arizona State campus. San Jose State (15-11) now has a season-long seven-match winning streak heading into the Bronco Invitational, April 4-5, hosted by Santa Clara University.

    Moss tied her own San Jose State single-match record of seven goals in the 19-14 victory over Arizona State. By the end of the ASU Invitational, she became the first Spartan with three 50-goal seasons and has 57 for the season. Moss now stands seventh in the MPSF in scoring averaging 2.19 goals per match.
