Water Polo Back In Top-10

Bridgeport, Pa.-----Following a three-win week at the UC Irvine Invitational, San Jose State University returned to the top-10 in the March 2 national women's water polo coaches' poll.

The Spartans (10-8) are ranked 10th in the latest poll - one spot higher than they were in the February 25 poll. San Jose State, one of five teams to move up in the most recent rankings, beat Cal State Bakersfield, #13-UC Santa Barbara and #11-Long Beach State.

Just ahead of the Spartans is San Diego State, the Spartans' next opponent. San Jose State and the Aztecs will meet March 12 in the Aztec Invitational.

Individually, freshman Timi Molnar and senior Adriana Vogt are the team's leading scorers with 39 goals apiece. They are tied for second in scoring among Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) players. Goalkeeper Meagan Minson is second in the MPSF in saves averaging 9.82 per match.
