2016 San Jose State Women's Water Polo Awards Banquet

The Spartans finished with an 18-15 win-loss record and celebrated its season's accomplishments.

AT SAN JOSE STATE: Fnished four seasons with the Spartans... Was one of the team's top defenders... Has four two-goal scoring matches in her first two seasons... A two-time All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) honorable mention player... Three-time Academic All-MPSF award winner.

2018: Honorable mention All-MPSF for the second season in a row... Fourth on the team in scoring with 21 goals... Scored in 13 contests... Team's leading scorer or shared team-high scoring honors seven times... Season-high three goals in an 11-8 loss to #15-UC Davis (1/20) and the 9-6 win over Fresno Pacific (3/16).

2017: Honorable mention All-MPSF... Was the team's only all-conference player... Third on the team in scoring wih 23 goals... Had a pair of single-match career scoring high of three goals in a 9-7 win over Whittier (3/12) and a 10-9 loss to #9-Michigan  at the Stanford Invitational...

2016: Played in all 33 matches... Scored 12 goals... Had her career-high two goals in wins over Azusa Pacific (3/19) and Pomona Pitzer (4/3) in the UCLA Invitational.

2015: Scored four goals in eight matches before an injury sidelined her for the remainder of the season... Season-high two goals in her major college debut in the 15-5 win over Sonoma State (3/16) in the LouStrong Memorial... Found the back of the cage in the 15-3 victory over Cal State Monterey Bay (3/17)... Final goal of the season was in the 10-9 overtime loss to Cal State Northridge (2/21) in the UC Irvine Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduate of Ga'rdonyi Ge'za Cistercian School in Eger, Hungary... Was a member of swimming team... Sprint freestyle specialist.

MORE ON KLAUDIA: An athletic training major... Was a student athletic trainer for the 2016 and 2017 San Jose State University football teams... Plans to earn a master's degree in exercise physiology... ... Played club water polo for ZF-Eger (Coach Attila Kelemen), one of the top programs in Hungary... Team won the Hungarian club championship twice while she was on the squad... Enjoys playing basketball... She is a native of Eger, Hungary.
