2014 Team Summer European Trip

The Spartans trained in Spain and Hungary during the summer of 2014.

AT SAN JOSE STATE: In her third season with the Spartans... 2015 and 2016 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) All-Academic team honoree... A 2014-15 San Jose State Scholar-Athlete... 69 career matches and 58 career goals scored... Single-match career-high of five goals in a 2016 win over #14-LMU (3/18/16).

2016: Had her most productive season as a Spartan... Played in all 33 matches... Third on the team in scoring with 37... Scored in 19 matches... Nine matches with two or more goals... Had a single-match career scoring high five goals in the 10-9 sudden-victory win at #14-LMU in the Zumo/LMU Invitational... Four goals each in wins over CSU Bakersfield (4/16 & 4/30).

2015: Played in 28 matches... Upped her season goal scoring total to 13... Biggest goal of the season was the match-winner in the MPSF Tournament fifth-place game against host Arizona State (4/26)... Team was 7-1 in matches that she scored a goal... Matched her single-match best of three goals in the 19-12 victory over Harvard (3/8) in the Harvard Invitational... Scored twice in the 15-5 win over Sonoma State in the LouStrong Memorial (1/16) and in the 14-9 conference triumph at CSU Bakersfield (4/18).

2014: Played in eight matches, all in a reserve capacity... Scored eight goals... Had a season-high three goals in the 20-1 win over Harvard (3/16) in the Aztec Invitational... Scored five of her goals in the Aztec Invitational.

SECONDARY SCHOOL: Attended Handsworth Secondary School in Vancouver, British Columbia.

DONIA: A biological sciences major with a concentration in systems physiology... Represented Canada in the 2015 FINA World Women's Junior Water Polo Championships in Volos, Greece... Played club water polo for the Pacific Storm (Coach Kalee Harris)... Was the Storm's 2013 Most Valuable Player for the club's Under-18 National Development Premier League team... Was the Storm's Most Improved Player Under-16 team in 2011... Enjoys longboarding, playing the piano and caring for cats... Donia is a native of Vancouver, British Columbia.
