Women's Water Polo Splits Matches At Cal Speedo Cup

Jacqui Maisey, Kathryn Elgin and Caroline Kerwin scored for the first time as Spartans in the CSUN win.

AT SAN JOSE STATE: In her first season with the Spartans.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in water polo (Coach Petra Koudelkova-Robles) and swimming at Garces Memorial High in Bakersfield... Set school career (310) goal-scoring record... 2015 first-team All-East Yosemite League after scoring 81 goals... 2014 East Yosemite League Most Valuable Player and an All-Valley Division II honoree as a junior... Led her team in scoring with 99 goals in 2014... Helped her team to a 2014 Central Section Division II championship and a 26-1 win-loss record... First team all-league as a sophomore... Concluded her high school career playing in the Tulare County All-Star matches and was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.
