Volleyball Falls To Fresno State

San Jose-In the final home match of the season, Kylie Miraldi led the Spartans in kills, but San Jose State fell to Fresno State 25-23, 27-25, 25-15, Thursday night at Spartan Gym.

Miraldi led all hitters with 11 kills and added one block and one dig on the night.  Caitlin Andrade recorded her 10th double-double of the season with 30 assists and 11 digs and added four kills in the match.

Playing in their final home match of their Spartan career, Thao Pham recorded nine digs and an assist, while Kristal Tsukano had five digs and two assists.

Alex Akana also had eight kills and a block, while Sarah McAtee contributed six kills and eight digs.  Courtney Zellmer had 11 digs, one ace and one assist, and Krista Miller recorded seven kills and three digs.

San Jose State finishes the season with a non-conference match at Cal State Bakersfield this Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.

Fresno State def. San Jose State - 25-23, 27-25, 25-15.

Kills - Fresno State - Brianna Clarke 7, Kelli Parker 7.

San Jose State - Kylie Miraldi 11.

Records - Fresno State 14-15, 7-9; San Jose State 1-26, 1-15.
