DENVER - San Jose State sophomore middle blocker Mary Alice O'Reilly has been named Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 5-11. This is her first-ever WAC Player of the Week honor.
The San Bruno, Calif. native averaged 4.67 kills on .393 hitting to go along with 1.33 blocks and a WAC-best 5.67 points per set to lead the Spartans to a sweep of league-leader Utah State last Saturday. She posted a match-high 14 kills to along with four blocks, including a match-high two solo blocks. O'Reilly entered the week averaging 3.21 kills and 0.95 blocks per set.
San Jose State continues at home this week with matches Tuesday night against CSU Bakersfield and Thursday night versus UTSA.
