Volleyball To Play Final Home Match, Two Road WAC Matches

Riding a three-match winning streak, the San Jose State volleyball team plays three matches this week including the final home match of the year. The Spartans host non-conference foe Pacific this Tuesday, October 30, in the team’s final home match of the year. Seniors Keri Anglin and Jennifer Senftleben will be honored prior to the match.

San Jose State then takes to the road for two Western Athletic Conference matches. The team plays at Fresno State on Thursday, November 1, and at Nevada on Saturday, November 3. The Spartans and Bulldogs will play for the second time in 11 days. San Jose State won the first meeting, 3-0, behind 20 kills from Senftleben. The Spartans and Wolf Pack played on September 29, where Nevada won, 3-0, in Spartan Gym.

The Spartans enter the week with a 12-12 overall record and 6-7 WAC mark. The team has its longest winning streak of the season and has won five of the past six matches.
