SPARTANS TO PLAY FINAL HOME MATCH, TWO WAC ROAD MATCHES: San Jose State will play its final home match Tuesday evening against non-conference foe Pacific. The team then plays at Fresno State on Thursday and at Nevada on Saturday. The Spartans bring a three-match winning streak into the week after defeating Fresno State, Boise State and Idaho last week.

SENIORS TO BE HONORED: San Jose State seniors Keri Anglin and Jennifer Senftleben will play their final home match Tuesday night against Pacific. The two players will be honored prior to the match.
WAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Junior outside hitter Niki Clement has been named the WAC Player of the Week after leading the Spartans to three victories last week. This is the first career WAC Player of the Week honor for Clement. This was the Spartans first player of the week honor since Carrie Nash won the award in November of 2004.
The Long Beach, Calif., native averaged 5.15 kills and 4.46 digs per game for the week. She recorded double-doubles in all three matches and led the Spartans in kills against Boise State and Idaho. Clement had a career-best 27 kills in the win over Idaho where she also had a career-high 61 kill attempts. She added three blocks, one solo and two assists, in the win over Idaho, recording 24 kills in a win over Boise State and adding a career-best 27 digs. Clement served the final seven points in game five against Boise State for the win. She added 16 kills and 12 digs in a three-game win over Fresno State.
ABOUT PACIFIC: The Tigers enter the match with a 13-7 overall record. Head coach Charlie Wade is in his second season at the helm of the program with a 21-28 coaching record. Spartan fans may recognize Wade as he spent 11 years on Hawaii coaching staff. Alexa Anderson leads the team in kills with 276, 3.73 pg, while Johanna Hilbers has a team-leading 64 blocks.
Pacific leads the overall series, 37-9. The two teams last faced each other on November 24, 2000, at the Community Bankers Classic. The Tigers won the match, 3-1.
ABOUT FRESNO STATE: The Bulldogs enter the match with a 5-19 overall record and a 3-9 WAC mark. Head coach Ruben Nieves is in his third year at the school with a 18-64 record and a 197-156 coaching record in 14 years. Alisha McKee leads the team in kills with 261, 3.22 pg, while Kelly Leonardo leads the team in blocking with 75, 0.88 pg.
San Jose State leads the overall series, 42-19. The Spartans won the earlier meeting this season, 30-27, 30-19, 30-26, on October 22. Jennifer Senftleben led all hitters with 20 kills and hit a season-best .514 with only two hitting errors in 35 attempts.
