Spartan Courtney Zellmer served nine consecutive points, including a service ace to give San Jose State a 24-20 lead en route to a 25-21 win. During the run, Colleen Burke had three kills and Emily Burke added a kill.

San Jose State returns to action next Saturday with a non-conference match against Cal State Bakersfield. First serve is set for 7 p.m., in Spartan Gym.
