O'Reilly Leads Volleyball Against Pacific

San Jose-Mary Alice O'Reilly had a team-best 11 kills, but the San Jose State volleyball team was swept by Pacific 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-20) in a non-conference match at Spartan Gym Tuesday night.

O'Reilly led the team with her 11 kills and two blocks, one solo and one assist.  Krista Miller hit a team-best .429 with seven kills on 14 attempts and just one error.  Alex Akana had eight kills, while Samantha O'Connell added six kills and six digs.

Kiely Pieper led the team with nine digs, while Hanah Blume added five kills and eight digs.  Setter Michaela Leonard had 32 assists and six digs.

San Jose State now goes on the road for Western Athletic Conference matches at UT Arlington on Thursday and at Louisiana Tech on Saturday.  Both matches will have live stat links available at sjsuspartans.com.
