Volleyball To Play Three WAC Matches in Five Days

The Spartans take to the road this week for two Western Athletic Conference matches before returning home next Monday. San Jose State begins the week with a 4-8 overall record and 0-2 WAC mark.

San Jose State plays at Nevada this Thursday, September 25. The Wolf Pack enter the week with a 5-5 overall record and a 1-1 WAC mark. The team won at Louisiana Tech last Thursday but lost at New Mexico State on Saturday.

Fresno State begins the week with a 4-7 overall record and a 1-1 WAC record and will play at Utah State before the Spartans visit on Saturday evening. The Bulldogs lost at New Mexico State, 3-0, last Thursday, but won at Louisiana Tech, 3-1, on Saturday.

After two matches on the road, San Jose State returns home next Monday, September 29, to host #7 Hawaii. The Rainbow Wahine play at Louisiana Tech on Thursday and at New Mexico State on Saturday before next Monday’s match. First serve for the match is set for 7 p.m. at Spartan Gym. The doors open at 6 p.m., with tickets available that evening for $5 for adults and $3 for youth 12 and under. San Jose State students are free with a valid Tower Card.
