Volleyball Swept By Boise State

San JoseKelly Crow recorded a team-best 13 kills, by the San Jose State volleyball team lost its Western Athletic Conference opener to Boise State, 25-20, 25-22, 25-20.

Crow hit a team-best .321 in the match with her 13 kills on 28 attempts and only four hitting errors. She added a dig, block assist and service ace for the match. Niki Clement added 11 kills and eight digs for the Spartans.

Nia Freeman led the Spartans with five block assists and had five kills. Brianna Amian added five kills and three block assists. Kristal Tsukano recorded a team-high 13 digs in the match.

San Jose State returns home this Saturday night for a WAC match against Utah State. First serve is set for 7 p.m., at Spartan Gym.
