"I was disappointed with our serving and passing tonight," said Spartan head coach Oscar Crespo.  "I was pleased with our left-side offense tonight, we just need to get our blocking, serving and passing to all come together at the same time.  We were there physically, because the numbers showed it, but we had too many mental lapses."

The Spartans return home this weekend for the SJSU Tournament on Friday and Saturday.  The team faces Portland State Friday night at 8 p.m., followed by Seattle at 11 a.m. and Cal State Bakersfield at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
