Albuquerque, N.M.— Nandyala Gama was a bright blocking star for the San José State volleyball team as the Spartans were swept at New Mexico, 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-20), Saturday afternoon in a Mountain West match in Albuquerque, N.M.
Gama recorded three block assists during the match to increase her season total to 106 block assists and move onto the San José State single season block assists list. She is tied for 10th with former Spartan greats Joslynn Gallop (1998) and Stephanie Pascucci (2002).
