San Jose, Calif.--The San José State volleyball team rallied after losing the first set to Fresno State Saturday afternoon to win the next three sets for a 3-1 win (23-25, 29-27, 25-15, 26-24) in a Mountain West match at Spartan Gym. 

Nandyala Gama led the Spartans with 14 kills and hit a team-best .367 (14-3-30). Sara Hibbs led the blocking attack with eight (1 solo, seven assists), while Yavianliz Rosado led the defense with 26 digs.

The Spartans improve to 12-11 overall and 4-6 in the MW, while Fresno State falls to 12-11 overall and 4-5 in the MW.

San José State goes back on the road next week for matches at New Mexico on Thursday, October 29, and at Air Force on Saturday, October 31.

San José State def. Fresno State - 23-25, 29-27, 25-15, 26-24.
