"We are paid many compliments from opposing coaches and fans about our never give up attitude," said Spartan head coach Jolene Shepardson. "This reason is why it is so enjoyable to coach these young ladies. We are not getting the results we want yet, but that is not due to our lack of heart or effort. I expect us to continue to grow as players, competitors and teammates."
San José State returns home next week for two Mountain West matches. The Spartans host UNLV on Thursday, October 16, and San Diego State on Saturday, October 18. Both matches begin at 6 p.m., inside of Spartan Gym, located near the corner of Fourth and San Carlos Streets. Tickets are available at the door for $5 for adults and $3 for youth/seniors.
