San José State opens the home portion of the 2014 schedule on Thursday, September 4, with a non-conference match against Saint Mary's at Spartan Gym beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $5 for adults and youth 12 and under for $3.
"This team creates a lot of energy on the court and are fun to watch. I hope our fans come to Thursday's match to see us," said Shepardson.
One note for Thursday - there is a new entrance for Spartan Gym after the building renovations and only one easy access due to ongoing construction.
