The San José State women’s track and field team will be among a stacked field this Friday and Saturday, February 12-13, at the Don Kirby Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M.
The Spartans are expected to compete in a full bid of events, which includes short sprints, distance events as well as jumps.
Last year’s Mountain West outdoor long jump champion Kelsey Johnson-Upshaw along with Cambree Harbaugh and Nicole Iloanya are three of six jumpers to take the stage for SJSU.
Jennifer Beckingham will compete in distance events, while Makayla Webb and Caitlin Wilson head up the Spartans sprint group.
The Mountain West Indoor Championship, also held in Albuquerque, N.M., is just two weeks away, and the Don Kirby poses as one of San José State’s final tune-ups.
The action begins Friday for the Spartans with the women’s long jump and the 60-meter hurdles at 4:00 p.m. (MT)
