Distance Carnival Results

San Francisco, Calif. --- The San José State women’s track team finished up a busy weekend on Saturday with sprinters and jumpers at both the SF State Distance Carnival and the Stanford Invitational.

Something in common at both sites was having Spartans in the finals of the 100-meter hurdles. Diamond Tabron ran a 15.38 and Sahla Cook clocked a 15.45 to make the finals at SF State. The two finished in that same order in fifth and sixth places while shaving off time later in the finals.

Jade Childs ran in the 100-hurdles final at the Stanford Invitational, clocking a 13.91 to finish in fourth place. She matched her time from yesterday’s prelims which is a personal record.

Cambree Harbaugh was also active at the Stanford Invitational in the triple jump. She finished fourth in the field of 12 with a distance of 12.09 meters.
