Nampa, Idaho – The San José State women’s track and field team completed day one of the Jacksons/NB Boise Invitational Indoor Meet at Jacksons Track Complex on Friday.
In the women’s long jump, freshmen Cambree Harbaugh and Kelsey Johnson-Upshaw finished two and three overall. Harbaugh showcased an 18-feet-6.5 jump, while Johnson-Upshaw ended things jumping 17-feet-7.5 inches. The pair were followed by Leah Lambert with a 17-foot jump and Nicole Ilonaya with a 16-feet-5 jump.
In the women’s 200-meter dash, freshman Caitlin Wilson finished third overall with a time of 24.65, the first time a Spartan crossed the finish line under 25.00 seconds. Her mark ranked second among collegiate runners in the event. Teammates Maija Pinkins was 18th in the event with a time of 26.41 and Lenae Stevens was 22nd at 26.59.
