NEW YORK --- The San José State women’s track and field team wrapped things up Saturday at the Armory Track Invitational in New York.
It was the season debut for the distance group which had Jennifer Sandoval, Adilene Aldapa, Jeanette Zambrano and Karina Nunes all running in the 3,000 meters. They would finish in that order with Sandoval clocking a 9:58.64 to lead the group.
Sprinters were also active Saturday in the 200 meters with Caitlin Wilson leading the way clocking a 25.15.
Indoor track season continues next week, Feb. 10-11, at the Don Kirby Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M.
