AT SJSU: In her second season as a Spartan … 2017 Mountain West Outdoor long jump champion … The program’s record holder in both the indoor and outdoor long jump … 2017 Outdoor All-Mountain West honoree.
INDOOR: Set the school record in the long jump twice during the year … A distance of 5.98 meters at the Don Kirby Invitational (2/10) stood as the long jump record at the end of the year … Scored five points for the Spartans at the MW Championships with a 5.94-meters long jump, good for fourth place … Clocked season-best times of 7.64 in the 60-meter dash at both the NAU Friday Night Duels and the Mountain West Championships.
OUTDOOR: Became the second Spartan freshman in three years to win the Mountain West Championship long jump … Jumped a lifetime best 6.39 meters in the long jump to take the crown at the MW Championships … Went on to compete in the event at the NCAA Championship West Preliminaries in Austin, Texas … Qualified for the USATF Junior National Championships where she competed against the country’s top-16 amateur long jumpers and finished 12th among them.
