5-Of-6 For Spartans At Bronco Invitational

Santa Clara, Calif. --- The San Jose State women's tennis team had another great showing as they competed in the last day of the Bronco Invitational hosted by Santa Clara University.

The Spartans finished their fall campaign with winning five of their six singles matches. Erica Medlin, Julianna Bacelar, Amber Walker, and Margot Charron won straight sets against their opponents.

"Our team worked really hard throughout the fall," said head coach Sylvain Malroux. "We are very excited about where we are heading and we showed that we are going to be a very competitive team."

Senior Chau Truong needed three sets to beat University of San Francisco's MilHadzi-Tanovic and is one win shy of achieving her 100th career major college tennis victory.

The Spartans do not compete again until January 16- 18 when they participate in their Training Camp Invitational.
