SAN JOSE, Calif. -- For the second straight match, Chau Truong was San Jose State's only winner as the Spartans fell, 6-1 to Fresno State on April 16.

After Truong took the first three pints of the second set, McQueen was forced to retire due to injury, ending the dual at 7-5, 3-0 ret.
The Spartans were unable to capture any of the doubles matches, and the remaining Spartan singles: Sabastiani Leon Chao, Christine Nguyen, Emily Prescott, Anna Guzman and Sandra Florea all lost in straight-sets.
"The scores don't really show it, but our team played well today," said Spartans' head coach Anh-Dao Nguyen-Church. "After a bad loss yesterday our goal was to bounce back and compete hard. That's what the team did today and I am proud of them."
