Tennis Heads to Reno For Three Against the WAC

The San Jose State women’s tennis team will head to Reno, Nevada to play three conference matches over April 3-4. 

        On April 3, the Spartans will play their second WAC opponent of the season at 9:00 a.m. as they take on the University of Nevada (5-7).

        On April 4, San Jose State will have a double header day beginning at 9:30 a.m. against Fresno State, and continuing at 2:00 p.m. against New Mexico State

All three of the Spartan's opponents for the weekend have a 0-0 record in WAC play.  The Spartans played their first conference match back on March 19 against Boise State where they lost 7-0.

        With two wins at home, and two wins on the road in Las Vegas, San Jose State recorded four straight wins to end the month of March, and improved their record to 10-8 on the season.  During that stretch, senior Amber Silverstone was 3-0 in the number one doubles position for the Spartans.
