Tennis Returns Home to Face Sonoma State

After going 2-0 in the Las Vegas Round Robin Tournament, the San Jose State women’s tennis team will return home to face Sonoma State (8-6) for the second time this season on March 31.

In the two teams’ first meeting at Sonoma State on February 20, Spartan singles of Amber Silverstone, Silvana Dukic, and Anna Guzman defeated their opponents in straight sets to help San Jose State to a 6-3 victory.

Since February 20, Sonoma State has gone 6-5 and has recently won against Dominican University and Cal State L.A. for two straight wins.

San Jose State (9-8) has answered four straight losses earlier in the month of March by winning against Cal State L.A., and sweeping at the Las Vegas Round Robin Tournament.  Those wins have brought the Spartans to their current three match win streak heading into Tuesday’s match against the Seawolves.
