Familiar foe: San Jose State traveled to Rohnert Park on February 20, 2011 and defeated Sonoma State 6-1. SJSU swept all three doubles pairings and each singles victory came in straight-sets for SJSU.
Seniors: The team has three seniors this year: Anna Guzman, Olivia Marshall, and Kalin Eshelman. Guzman is the only senior going for her fourth and final letter as an SJSU student-athlete. Marshall joined the team as a sophomore in 2008-09 and this will be Eshelman's first season with the Spartans.
Fall season wrap: SJSU won 18 singles matches this fall season. That's three less than the team had won in the previous three fall seasons combined. Sabastiani Leon Chao saw her first collegiate tennis action this fall and finished with a 6-2 record in singles over three tournaments. Chau Truong picked up where she left off last season and also finished with a 6-2 record in singles. The team as a whole won 20 matches in singles and doubles
Home site: SJSU will play all of their home dual-matches in 2011 at the Spartan Tennis Complex located at the corner of 12th and Humboldt street in San Jose, Calif.
