Spartans Nationally-Ranked For Two Weeks in a Row

San Jose, Calif. --- For the second week in a row, the San Jose State women's tennis team is nationally ranked in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) NCAA Division I weekly poll.

In the March 5 ITA rankings, the Spartans are ranked 66th after falling to UC Davis, 4-3. San Jose State (7-4) made its first appearance in the national rankings on February 26 at #64.

The Spartans' number-one singles player, sophomore Klaudia Boczova, remains ranked #40. The next ITA NCAA Division I singles rankings will be released on March 12.

The Spartans' next match is against Southern Utah (2-2) on March 9 at the Spartan Tennis Complex. Match play begins at 10:00 a.m.
