Women's Tennis Sets Sights On Cal Poly

     San Jose State women's tennis will head to San Luis Obispo to put their 3-0 record on the line against Cal Poly this Friday, February 26. The Spartans will follow up the next day with a match on the road against CSU Bakersfield whom San Jose State defeated, 4-3 back on January 29, 2010. 

MATCHUP: San Jose State (3-0) at Cal Poly (5-2), San Luis Obispo, Calif., Friday, February 26, 2010, 1:30 p.m.

FEBRUARY 27: San Jose State (3-0) at CSU Bakersfield (0-8), Bakersfield, Calif., Saturday, February 27, 2010, 11:00 a.m.

SAN JOSE STATE: Coming off of three straight wins to open the 2010 dual season. Most recent victory was at Sonoma State, 7-2. Anna Guzman and Chau Truong are 3-0 in singles with three, straight-set wins each.

CAL POLY: Mustangs are coming off of a 6-1 loss to No. 4 UCLA. Their five wins are against CSU Bakersfield, University of San Francisco, Loyola Marymount, CSU Fullerton, and CSU Northridge.

CSU BAKERSFIELD: 0-8 in 2010 dual season. Lost to San Jose State on January 29, 4-3.

     "Cal Poly will be great competition for our team, and we're looking forward to these challenges," said head coach Anh-Dao Nguyen-Church.
