Women's Tennis Looks For Win Against The University Of The Pacific

San José, Calif. --- The San José State University women’s tennis team looks for its fourth win of the season as it hosts the University of the Pacific on Saturday, February 22.

In their last time out, the Spartans (3-8) won the doubles point and four singles matches in the 4-3 victory over Cal Poly. Senior Sabastiani Leon Chao clinched the victory for the San José State after going into three sets and defeating Hannah Stone of Cal Poly, 5-7, 6-2, 6-3.  With the win, Leon Chao increased her career win count to 119, moving her into the second spot on the Spartans 100 career win list.

The Pacific Tigers (4-2) are coming off a 6-1 victory over UC Santa Barbara.

Match play begins Saturday at 12:00 p.m. (PT) at the Spartan Tennis Complex located next to Spartan Stadium.
