Four San Jose State Wins On Final Day Of Bronco Invitational Women's Tennis

Santa Clara, Calif.----- Sophomore Clara Mantaux picked up a win in singles and a doubles victory with Sybille Gauvain to highlight the final day of the Bronco Invitational women's tennis tournament.

Mantaux defeated Sarina Chhabra of USF, 6-0, 6-1, and teamed Sybille Gauvain to beat the USF pair of Amber Del Rosario and Mya Bui.

Miyo Kobayashi was the other San Jose State player to post a singles victory on November 5. She defeated Santa Clara's Nadine DelCarmen, 6-1, 6-0.

Laura Malsert and Savannah Sendar accounted for the fourth San Jose State triumph defeating the Santa Clara team of Giannina Ong and Zeina El Tawil, 6-3.

San Jose State concluded its tournament season at Santa Clara. There were no matches on Saturday, November 4, due to wet grounds.

The dual meet opener is January 26 when San Jose State hosts Sonoma State in a 12:00 p.m. match.
