Long Beach, Calif. – San Jose State swimmers set season bests in each of the five events contested including an NCAA Consideration Qualifying time in the 400 medley relay on day one of the Arena Invitational at the Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool on Thursday.

Heather Denman, Erika Harvey, Marisa DeWames and Kiley Foster, the San Jose State “A” entry, swam the second-fasted 200 freestyle relay in school history and lowered the teams season best by more than three seconds to 1:33.35 in the first final of the night. “Both relays were tremendous,” Hopkins said. “The 400 medley relay was definitely a great performance by the four ladies on the team. To get a B-Cut at this point in the season is great for us. I was really pleased with the entire team’s performance.
“We want to keep improving and getting better tomorrow. We had a great start today and want to keep rolling.”
