San Jose State Swimming & Diving Ranked #25

For the first time this season, San Jose State University is ranked in the collegeswimming.com Division I national poll. The Spartans are ranked 25th in the November 7 poll.

"The team is off to a great start this year," said head coach Sage Hopkins. "The recent rankings are a great testament to how hard our swimmers and divers have been training."

The Spartans improved their record to 2-1 after defeating UC Santa Cruz, 174-to-31, at the Aquatic Center on San Jose State's campus.

San Jose State will compete again on Thursday, November 15 through Saturday, November 17 when the swimmers travel to Long Beach, Calif. to compete in the Arena Invitational. The divers travel to Tucson, Ariz., to compete in the Wildcat Diving Invitational on Friday, November 16 to Sunday, November 18.
