Spartans Look For Win Against UC Davis

San Jose, Calif. --- The San Jose State women's swimming and diving team will compete in its second dual meet of the season against UC Davis at the Schaal Aquatics Center, Saturday, October 27. The meet will start at 11:00 a.m.

"The team has been working very hard," said head coach Sage Hopkins. "Both the swimmers and divers have been and we are looking forward to competing this weekend."

The Spartans (0-1) go for their first win of the season after falling to national-power Stanford, 162.5 to 135.5, to open the season. UC Davis is competing in its first dual meet of 2012-13.

San Jose State has wins over the Aggies the last four times these teams competed in dual meet competition. Last year, Diver Amy Kilby and swimmer Darcie Anderson each won two events to lead the Spartans to victory.
