The San Jose State University women’s swimming team is one of seven squads competing in the 25th annual Pacific Invitational, Friday, October 21, and Saturday, October 22, at the Chris Kjeldsen Pool in Stockton, Calif.
First-day events start at 7:00 p.m. and second-day action begins at 10:00 a.m.
The entire meet will be streamed live by the University of the Pacific.
Currently ranked 21st in CollegeSwimming.com’s mid-major poll, San Jose State is competing in its second meet of the fall season. The Spartans opened the season placing fifth out of six teams at the Chick-fil-A Invitational hosted by Fresno State.
“The team is pumped for this weekend’s invitational. The team has really been training well and we are excited to see our progress from the Fresno State Invite,” says San Jose State women’s swimming head coach Sage Hopkins.
Air Force, California, Denver, Fresno State, Fresno Pacific, and host Pacific join San Jose State battling for top honors. Nevada and Fresno state were at the Chick-fil-A Invitational with the Spartans.
